X-ray Studies of a Tungsten–Titanium–Cobalt Alloy Fabricated by Spark Plasma Sintering of Electroerosive Hard-Alloy Powders Produced in Kerosene

Abstract—A tungsten–titanium–cobalt hard alloy fabricated by spark plasma sintering of hard-alloy powders produced by electroerosion dispersion of the T5K10 hard alloy waste in kerosene is studied by X-ray methods. The synthesized new hard alloy is shown to have a fine-grained structure and elemental and phase compositions, which are identical to the initial T5K10 hard alloy to be dispersed.
