Choice of Atmosphere Composition for Predictive Accelerated Tests of Coatings in Artificial Climate Chambers

Abstract
The results of electrochemical studies and tests of zinc, cadmium, and nickel coatings in artificial climate chambers are presented. The optimum sodium chloride and sulfite concentrations, which are used to simulate the influence of corrosive atmosphere agents during accelerated tests and can be used to intensify the destruction of coatings without disturbing its mechanism, have been established.
