Fatigue Limits of Welded Assemblies with Flank Welds Calculated in Terms of Structural Stresses

Abstract
The structural fatigue limit for welded joints with flank welds has been experimentally substantiated. The fatigue limit in terms of structural stresses is proposed for the welded joints containing the end of a flank weld.
