Changes in the Plasticizing Effect of Moisture during Climatic Aging of Polymer Composite Materials
摘要
Abstract
The linear dependences of the decrease in the mechanical properties of polymer composite materials and separately cured matrices on the amount of sorbed moisture are analyzed. The coefficients of proportionality in these linear dependences are quantitative indicators of the plasticizing effect of moisture. The weakening of the plasticizing effect of moisture with an increase in the thermal-moisture or climatic aging time is shown to be a general trend and to provide valuable information for identifying the mechanisms of aging.
