Abstract <p>The electrophysical properties of paint and varnish polymer compositions containing shungite in different concentrations as a filler have been studied. The experimental data confirmed that the properties of the material depend on its electrophysical parameters: dielectric constant, dielectric loss tangent, and specific conductivity, correlating with changes in the physicomechanical parameters of protection. A set of modern instruments were used for measurements. The frequency dependences of the electrophysical properties of the composite materials filled with shungite in different concentrations were measured. The obtained data show that highly filled composites can be used in industry and technology as electromagnetic radiation-absorbing and shielding materials. The composite materials used are characterized by low toxicity and optimal price parameters.</p>
