Thermochemistry of Semiconductor Molecules: Enthalpies of Dissolution, Solvation, and Evaporation for o-Phenylenediamine and ortho-, meta-, para-Hydroxy Aniline Compounds
摘要
Abstract
The anilines and hydroxy anilines chemicals are essential compounds in production of semi-conductor copolymers. Consequently, the thermodynamic study is a unique method to know quality and stability of the manufactured materials. Especially, thermodynamic phase transition properties like enthalpies of solutions, fusion, solvation, and sublimation of the studied compounds. Accordingly, solution calorimetry technique was applied in determination enthalpies of dissolution and sublimation at temperature 298.15 K in benzene and acetonitrile solvents. While, the solvation enthalpy was estimated through additive scheme approach and solution calorimetry method. The data obtained in this work are compared to literature values.
