Studying the Hydrogen Peroxide Decomposition Process in the Presence of a Mesoporous Carbon Material
摘要
Abstract
The hydrogen peroxide decomposition process in the presence of a mesoporous carbon material is studied. The rate constants and activation energies for the hydrogen peroxide decomposition reaction are determined. It is found that the reaction rate changes from the zero to first order over time. It is shown that the activation energy for the hydrogen peroxide decomposition reaction is 84 kJ mol−1; in the presence of a mesoporous carbon material, it decreases to 19 kJ mol−1.
