On the Possibility of Measuring the Electronic Work Function of Nonvolatile Materials by High-Temperature Mass Spectrometry
摘要
Abstract
The possibility of measuring the work function of metals and salt systems by measuring the partial pressures of the ionic component of the gas phase using the Knudsen effusion method combined with mass spectrometric analysis of evaporation products was studied. The main sources of erroneous data are analyzed. Various determinations of the electronic work function and the relationship between them are considered.
