Thermal Diffusivity of Aqueous Solutions of Propylene Glycols

The thermal diffusivities of 1,2-propanediol/water and dipropylene glycol/water solutions were measured at atmospheric pressure at temperatures from 303 to 353 K and over the full concentration range. The thermal diffusivity measurements were performed by the laser flash method on an LFA-457 installation (Netzsch, Germany). An equation was obtained for calculating the thermal diffusivities of the binary solutions depending on the weight concentration of the components and temperature.
