Thermolysis of Artificial Polymer Stones. Part 2. Acrylic Stones of Different Compositions
摘要
Abstract
Thermolysis of acrylic artificial stones of various brands was studied by thermal desorption mass spectrometry. The energies of the observed processes were evaluated. The thermolysis of the materials at 350–700 K is accompanied by a release of methyl methacrylate with varying degrees of intensity. Auxiliary substances used in the synthesis of polymers, including toxic phthalates, were isolated; their release was maximum at 460 K. The heat resistance of various acrylic stone samples was estimated.
