Transfer Phenomena in Alkali Metal Systems
摘要
Abstract
Using equations relating the phenomena of conductivity and electromigration, data for binary systems of liquid alkali metals K–Na, Na–Cs, Cs–K, Hg–Na, and Hg–K are analyzed and refined. A good data consistency is obtained for the Hg–Na–K triangle. For the Na–K–Cs triangle, consistency is less accurate due to increased experimental error in systems with an inversion point in the middle concentration range. Factors g and b are calculated for 18 liquid metals. Only for Cs and K factor b exceeds the value b = 1 adopted in the Drude–Sommerfeld theories.
