Peculiarities in Crystallization of Al–Ni–Co-Rare Earth Metals Amorphous Alloys

Abstract
Crystallization processes of amorphous Al–Ni–Co-REM (REM = Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Yb) alloys with different ratios of transition metals are investigated. The activation energies for various stages of crystallization are calculated from experimental data. It is shown that the alloys with a high cobalt content are more thermally stable and preferable for further practical use.
