Hydroformylation and Hydrogenation of Sinapyl Alcohol, Catalyzed by Cobalt and Rhodium Carbonyl Complexes
摘要
Abstract
A study is performed of a two-route reaction of homogeneous catalytic hydroformylation and hydrogenation of sinapyl alcohol (one of the main structural units of lignin) to 4-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)butanal, 3-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzyl)propanal, and 4-(3-hydroxypropyl)-2,6-dimethoxyphenol in acceptable yields that are of interest for biological research. Primary kinetic characteristics are determined, and a kinetic equation of the process is obtained, based on the mechanism of the reactions.
