Ruthenium(II) Complexes with 3,5-Dibromo-Substituted Tridentate NOS Schiff Base Ligands
摘要
Abstract
Four Ru(II) complexes with tridentate NOS Schiff base ligands were obtained by the reaction of ruthenium starting materials with HL Schiff base ligands. The molecular structures of Ru(II) complexes 1–4 were unambiguously confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction along with the according microanalyses. The isolated Ru(II) complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, UV-Vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 31P NMR in agreement with the crystal structures, indicating that the ligand is bonded to the ruthenium center via phenolic oxygen and methylamine nitrogen as well as thionyl sulfide. In addition, the catalytic properties of Ru(II) complexes 1–4 were also investigated for the cyclopropanation of styrene.
