Abstract <p>The results of the IX International Symposium “Chemistry and Chemical Education,” dedicated to the 190th anniversary of D.I. Mendeleev, and the Third Youth School on Radioecology, honoring the distinguished Far Eastern scientist V.A. Avramenko, are summarized. Both events took place at the Far Eastern Federal University from September 30 to October 3, 2024. The symposium addressed current challenges, trends, and prospects in chemistry and chemical education. Notably, for the first time in the Far East, a special section on “Synchrotron and Neutron Studies of Materials” was organized in collaboration with researchers from the National Research Centre “Kurchatov Institute,” presenting the results of joint studies.</p>
