Frustrated Antiferromagnet with Square Lattice: Magnetic Structure and Application for Manganite Crystals
摘要
Abstract
The competition of nearest-neighbor exchange interactions is considered within a four-sublattice model to determine the magnetic structure of the model crystal. It is shown that three types of magnetic structures exist: antiferromagnetic, canted, and quasi-one-dimensional. An analytical dependence of the magnetic structure on the ratio of the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic exchange parameters is obtained. Possible orbital-charge Mn3+/Mn4+ ordering that could cause this frustrated square magnetic structure is considered.
