Thermal and Deformation Stability of Fullerites and Their Influence on the Formation of Me–C (Me—Cu, Fe) Mechanocomposites
摘要
The results of research on the mechanochemical synthesis of metal–fullerite and metal–graphite composites have been summarized. Literature review on this topic is presented. Particular attention has been given to the structural changes that occur in fullerites at high temperatures (up to 1600°C) and under deformation induced by high-energy mechanochemical activation. The mechanisms of thermal and deformation destruction of the crystal structure of fullerites and the destruction of fullerene molecules have been considered. These data have been used to analyze the formation regularities of the structural-phase composition of Me–C composites. Metals like Fe and Cu, which have different levels of affinity for carbon, have been considered as matrices.
