Abstract <p>This chapter provides a historical overview and key data on the locations of crinoids of the Neverovo Formation in the Moscow Basin, along with a brief stratigraphic overview of the studied deposits. A bed-by-bed description and biostratigraphic characteristics of the Neverovo Formation in the Afanasievo Quarry, the neostratotype of the Kasimovian Stage, are included. Brief information on the methodology for studying crinoids is also presented<b>.</b></p>
