Abstract <p>A new genus <i>Boninorhinus</i> gen. nov., with the new species <i>B</i>. <i>longirostris</i> sp. nov., belongs to the tribe Burmomaceratini of the subfamily Rhinorhynchinae and is described from late Cretaceous Burmese amber. This new genus can be distinguished from the genus <i>Burmomacer</i> Legalov, 2020 by its long rostrum, which is almost half the length of the body; its convex odd elytral interstriae; its antennae, which are inserted closer to the rostrum apex; its eyes, which are situated at the base of the head; and its metaventrite, which is almost equal to the first ventrite. This is the second discovery of a representative of the tribe Burmomaceratini.</p>

Abstract
