New Finds of Representatives of the Family Lambdarinidae (Brachiopoda, Rhynchonellida) in the Tournaisian Deposits of the Kozhim River Basin and Parallelism in the Appearance of Punctation in Rhynchonellida
摘要
Abstract
New finds of micromorph brachiopods of the Order Rhynchonellida from the Upper Tournaisian in the Kozhim River basin on Konstantinov Creek (Komi Republic, Russia) are described. They belong to new taxa of the Family Lambdarinidae. One specimen belongs to the subfamily Minispheniinae, possibly to the genus Minysphenia Grant, 1988. Imprints of microstructural elements and traces of punctae were found on one incomplete shell. This confirms a previously proposal that punctation in Rhynchonellida arises independently in different superfamilies.
