Abstract <p>A new species of caddisfly, <i>Baissoferus mongolicus</i> sp. nov., belonging to the family Baissoferidae, is described from the Lower Cretaceous locality of Shar-Tologoy, Mongolia. Two hind wings of caddisflies, probably of Baissoferidae, the generic affiliation of which is not determined, are also described from this locality.</p>
