Squamation of the Permian Actinopterygian Strelnia insolita (Esin, 1996)
摘要
Abstract
The morphological and histological structure of the scale cover of Strelnia insolita (Esin, 1996) from the Urzhumian and Severodvinian deposits of European Russia is described. The scale cover of Strelnia is most similar to Reticulolepis Aldinger, 1937, from the Upper Permian of Central Europe, which confirms their close relationship. The new data add to our knowledge on the phylogenetic and biogeographic relationships of the Permian actinopterygians of the East European Platform.
