Pollen and Non-Pollen Palynomorphs in the Holocene Record of Suzdalskiye Lakes, St. Petersburg
摘要
Pollen data from urban lakes were analyzed using the example of Lake Verkhnee Suzdalskoye in St. Petersburg. The results are compared with data on other lakes in the city of St. Petersburg. The Suzdalskiye lakes are shown to have formed at the beginning of the Holocene, and the paleoenvironment throughout the entire Holocene is reconstructed. Along with pollen, the dynamics of the presence of non-pollen palynomorphs was studied, the appearance of which in various urban lakes are mainly associated with local changes in the catchment area. The beginning of agriculture in the Suzdalskiye lakes catchment area is fixed from the beginning of the Subatlantic period around 2820 and 2250 cal years BP evidenced by the appearance of Cerealia and weeds.
