A Comparative Study of Dry Biomasses of Azospirillum lipoferum Sp59b by Vibrational Spectroscopy Techniques
摘要
Abstract
A comparative analysis of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and Raman spectra of dry biomass samples of the bacterium Azospirillum lipoferum Sp59b obtained by air-drying at 45°C and by lyophilisation was performed. It has been shown that the observed minor differences both for the FTIR spectra in the transmission mode and for the Raman spectra of biomass samples dried using the two different methods allow both methods of sample preparation of bacterial biomasses to be used for general analyses of their macromolecular composition by vibrational spectroscopy techniques.
