Abstract

The current study deals with thermoelastic damping (TD) and frequency shift (FS) of Kirchhoff plate resonator by considering modified couple stress thermoelastic model under non-local, phase leg, and temperature dependent properties (TDP). The governing equations and heat conduction equations are presented with Kirchhoff-Love plate theory in which material properties of the plate are taken to be temperature dependent. The plate is examined under different boundary conditions clamped-clamped (CC), simply supported (SS), clamped-supported (CC) and clamped free (CF) to explore TD and FS. A computer algorithm has been constructed to obtained the numerical result. The numerical results for TD and FS under different boundary restriction (CC, SS, CS, and CF) are presented in tabular form and also described graphically. Some unique cases are also deduced.
