Analysis of a non-Homogeneous Hygro-Thermoelastic Layer Immersed in Non-Viscous Fluid
摘要
The present work is concerned with two-dimensional deformation in a non-homogeneous hygro-thermoelastic layer of finite thickness 2h. A mechanical force is applied along the hygro-thermoelastic layer with hydrostatic initial stress which is immersed in an infinite non-viscous fluid. The governing equations are first solved analytically to obtain the respective components of displacement, stresses, temperature and moisture concentration by using the normal mode technique. The non-homogeneous properties of the medium are taken along the x-axis. The effect of non-homogeneity and fluid layer is represented by the graphical results for these components. The numerical values of displacement, stress, temperature and moisture concentration are calculated using MATLAB software.
