Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of 316L Stainless Steel Lattice Structures Based on Topology Optimization
摘要
Lattice structures are widely used in many engineering fields because of their superior properties. In this paper, additive manufacturing and topology optimization are combined to design Face-centered cube (FCC), Edge-centered cube (ECC), Vertex cube (VC), Face Cross Cube-A (FCC-A), Face Rhombic Cube (FRC), Face Diagonal Cube (FDC), Face Cross Rhombic Cube (FCRC). Face Cross Diagonal Cube (FCDC), Face Rhombic Diagonal Cube (FRDC), and Face Cross Rhombic Diagonal Cube (FCRDC) structures by the evolution of load application mode. The mechanical properties of the structures are evaluated. The homogenization method is applied to discuss the anisotropy of lattice structures. Gibson-Ashby model is developed to predict the mechanical properties of lattice structures with different relative densities. The results show that FCDC has good mechanical properties at both low density and high density compared with other lattice structures. The mechanical properties of FCRDC are best at high density. The results of the experiment further validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
