Abstract <p>The main aim of this research article is to calculate the reflection of plane waves at the Interface between the homogeneous transversely solid half space (medium-II) and the linear anisotropic hygrothermoelastic solid half space (medium-I). The governing equations for both the medium are solved and satisfies the required boundary conditions which shows the existence of four waves namely qP, qT, qM, qSV for the hygrothermal solid half space. Also show the existence of three waves P, ST and SV for the transversely homogeneous isotropic generalized thermoelasticity. Expression of Reflection coefficients with respect to the frequency are calculated. The physical properties of a particular material are considered for numerical simulation. Phase velocity, specific loss, Attenuation coefficient and Refection Coefficient are plotted graphical.</p>
