Reply to the Comment on “Suppression of the Low-Temperature Increase in the Van der Waals Force by the Anomalous Skin Effect” (JETP Letters 122, 805 (2025))
摘要
The limitations of the applicability of the local Drude model under conditions of the anomalous skin effect for calculating the contactless friction force between two metal plates are considered. It is shown that a correct nonlocal approximation for the dielectric function (for example, in the Lindhard theory) leads to a strong suppression of dissipation and the friction force at low temperatures.
