摘要

To reveal ultraviolet signals that can accompany fast radio bursts, photon arrival times from 29 localization regions of repeating fast radio bursts have been analyzed in data from the GALEX telescope, which observed the sky from 2003 to 2013. No statistically significant candidate with a characteristic duration of ≤10 ms has been found. This allows us to impose for the first time a bound FUV/Frad < 4 × 10–4 on the ratio of spectral flux densities in the two ranges, which significantly exceeds similar bounds in the optical region.
