<p>Contrary to the sister superconducting (Ba,K)Fe<sub>2</sub>As<sub>2</sub> materials with partial hole substitution, the electron-doped Ba(Fe,TM)<sub>2</sub>As<sub>2</sub> pnictides (where TM is a transition metal) remain relatively understudied so far. In the review, we summarize current advances in the studies of microstructural, transport, magnetic, calorimetric, optical, band-structure properties of Ba(Fe,TM)<sub>2</sub>As<sub>2</sub> family pnictides, as well as the structure of the superconducting order parameter and its evolution with the change in the electron doping degree.</p>
