Storage Ring for a Compton Source of Gamma-Quanta in the Range from 1 to 200 MeV
摘要
Abstract
The method of inverse Compton scattering of laser photons is an effective method for obtaining energy-tunable and quasi-monochromatic gamma-quanta. To obtain such photon beams, Compton sources based on electron storage rings are used. This paper describes a design for a storage ring with a maximum electron energy of 2 GeV to obtain Compton gamma quanta in a wide energy range.
