Energy-Saving Synchrotron Radiation Source on Permanent Magnets
摘要
Abstract
A design for a high-brightness X-ray source with low (an order of magnitude lower than existing and currently under construction) energy consumption is considered. Such qualitative gains are achieved through the use of new technologies. The magnetic system of the electron storage ring, which uses electromagnets in existing sources, is built on the basis of permanent magnets made of neodymium-iron-boron alloy. In addition to zero power consumption, the permanent magnet magnetic system ensures high stability of radiation parameters since the magnetic field in it is never switched off.
