Experimental Study of LiKPb Equiatomic Alloy Volumetric Properties

Abstract
The density and the volumetric thermal expansion coefficient of the LiKPb equiatomic ternary alloy in the liquid state have been measured for the first time. The volumetric properties were studied using the gamma method in the range from the liquidus temperature TL = 877 to 1030 K. Based on the obtained experimental results, the table of recommended data of volumetric properties for the LiKPb melt was compiled and the relative excess molar volume value was calculated, which amounted to approximately –25% in the studied temperature range.
