Study of the Properties of the Ultra-High-Temperature Ceramic HfC0.51N0.32 in the Temperature Range 2500‒5500 K

Abstract
For the first time, experimental results of the study of temperature dependences of enthalpy, heat capacity and electrical resistivity of hafnium carbonitride HfC0.51N0.32 are presented for solid, liquid states and during melting in the temperature range 2500‒5500 K. The study was carried out using the method of fast (5–10 μs) pulsed current heating.
