Modeling the Kinetics of Propane Oxidation in a Dielectric-Barrier Discharge

Abstract
A kinetic model of propane oxidation by air in a dielectric-barrier discharge has been developed, incorporating effective rate constants for electron–molecule interactions with the feed mixture components. A possible mechanism and process characteristics are discussed.
