Plasma Synthesis of Carbon Disulfide from Methane and Hydrogen Sulfide
摘要
Abstract
In this paper the plasmachemical synthesis of carbon disulfide from methane and hydrogen sulfide is investigated. Thermodynamic estimation methodology and its results are presented and discussed. The conversion of aforementioned reagents requires 6.23 MJ/kgmixture (1.77 kWh/kgmixture). Energy input for carbon disulfide synthesis are estimated to be 52.6 MJ/kgCS2. Since the specific flow rate of the argon was chosen to be 2 kgAr/kgmixture the resulting plasma enthalpy is calculated to be 3.2MJ/kg.
