Abstract

Coumarins are important organic compounds in the heterocycle family and play a major role in the pharmaceutical field. In this review, the readers can understand the various conditions that were available in the synthesis of different coumarin compounds. The collection of various methods involved in the synthesis of coumarin derivatives was discussed in detail. The multicomponent reaction coupled with a nanocatalyst played a major role in the synthesis of coumarin derivatives. The nanocatalyst showed excellent activity in the synthesis of coumarin with more reactivity, high stability, selectivity, less reaction time, high yields, ease of recovery, and more reusability.
