Abstract

The paper examines the effect of a low-energy ion flux on chrome-tanned leather from marine and river fish skins, and optimizes plasma modification modes. A correlation has been established between the indicators of wetness and the wetting edge angle. It was determined that the semi-finished product from the skins of marine fish initially has a hydrophobic surface, and from river fish it has a hydrophilic surface.
