Abstract <p>Using a two-step approximation for the radial distribution function, an analytical expression was obtained that makes it possible to calculate the isothermal compressibility coefficient of a Yukawa fluid for different values of nonideality and screening parameters. The calculation results are consistent with data from molecular dynamics numerical simulation.</p>
