Structural Changes of Fur Sheepskin Leather Tissue during Plasma Modification

Abstract
The paper investigates the change in the structure of fur sheepskin leather tissue at its modification by non-equilibrium low-temperature plasma before tanning and fattening processes in modes that increase mechanical parameters of fur. High-frequency capacitive low-temperature plasma treatment in argon gas medium was used for modification of fur sheepskin leather tissue. The results of research of physical and mechanical characteristics of fur sheepskin, such as tensile strength, elongation are given. It is established that plasma modification of fur sheepskin in argon medium at a power of 2000 W contributes to the increase of physical and mechanical characteristics up to 42%.
