Modification of Pike Skin Dermis Microstructure by Non-Equilibrium Low-Temperature Plasma
摘要
Abstract
The work established that modification of the dermis of pike skin by a flow of nonequilibrium low-temperature plasma before the first liquid process–soaking–leads to a change in its microstructure. As a result, the efficiency of all subsequent technological processes, including tanning, increases, which is confirmed by the additional structure of the dermis while maintaining its arch structure, as a result of which the strength properties of leather from pike skins increase.
