Acmaeoderella (Carininota) flavofasciata chorasanica subsp. n. from northern Iran and southern Turkmenistan is described; the taxon was originally established with an unavailable name A. (C.) flavofasciata chorasanica Volkovitsh et Alexeev, 1994, proposed as a replacement name for Acmaeodera (C.) flavofasciata persica auctorum (non Mannerheim, 1837).
