A New Genus of the Weevil Tribe Hypurini (Coleoptera, Curculionidae: Ceutorhynchitae) from South Africa

Abstract
A new genus Stenohypurus gen. n. of the weevil tribe Hypurini with five new species is described from the Republic of South Africa. The new genus differs from the remaining Hypurini in a narrow body and lamelliform, truncate apically, posteromedially-pointed mucro on the male middle and hind tibiae.
