A Model for Describing Turbulent Flows

Abstract
Based on a simple kinetic model that is used in the derivation of a quasigasdynamicsystem, additional equations for turbulent moments are obtained. The properties of the additionalequations are demonstrated by the example of turbulent mixing layer simulation.
