摘要

Abstract

The calculated values of the integrated luminosity of the Herzberg II bands in the nighttime atmospheres of the Earth, Venus, and Mars with different CO2 concentrations are presented. The correlation of the results of theoretical calculations of the excited molecular oxygen glow intensities with the experimental data on the nighttime O2 glow in the atmospheres of Venus and Mars obtained from the European Space Agency’s Venus Express and Trace Gas Orbiter spacecraft is discussed. The results of calculating the Herzberg II band glow intensities for the Earth’s nighttime atmosphere are also compared with the experimental results obtained at the Kitt Peak National Observatory, United States.
