Experimental Study of Effect of Weak Transverse Static Electric Field on Temperature Distribution in Bunsen Burner Flame
摘要
Abstract
This paper presents the results of an experimental study of the effect of a weak static electric field on the temperature distribution in a laminar flame of the Bunsen burner. The temperature fields in the flame of premixed lean methane and propane-air were obtained by the method of planar laser-induced fluorescence, in the presence and absence of an external electric field. The results of temperature field visualization and evaluation indicate that the presence of an electric field changes the flame front shape and deflects the flame toward the cathode, but does not significantly alter the temperature distribution in the flame.
