Abstract <p>The article presents the results of seismoacoustic studies of the Crimean shelf, carried out in 2018–2023 by personnel of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology, Russian Academy of Sciences. Based on the results of seismostratigraphic analysis, seven seismic complexes were identified in the sedimentary cover. Transgressive and regressive cycles in the Pleistocene–Holocene and associated abrasion–accumulative processes were identified. Traces of buried river paleovalleys and their continuation in the form of submarine canyons on the slope and in the abyssal basin were discovered. The main patterns of lithofacies change in Upper Pleistocene–Holocene deposits are associated with the latest block movements. Manifestations of degassing confined to a zone of increased seismicity were noted.</p>
