Shrimp in Sakhalin Bay (Sea of Okhotsk): The Size and Sex Composition and Nutrition in July–August of 2016–2017
摘要
Six caridean shrimp species were found at a depth of 53–66 m in ten samples from bottom trawling catches obtained in Sakhalin Bay in July–August of 2016–2017: Eualus fabricii (Krøyer 1841), Lebbeus uschakovi (Kobjakova 1936), Spirontocaris intermedia (Kobjakova 1936), S. murdochi (Rathbun 1902), Pandalopsis lamelligera (Brandt 1851), and Argis lar (Owen 1839). The biological state of 796 shrimp samples was studied, including 466 stomachs with food used to analyze the food composition. These shrimp are inhabitants of the shelf and its edge to a depth of 400 m and have different life forms: A. lar is a burrowing form, L. uschakovi, Spirontocaris spp., and E. fabricii are epibenthic forms, and P. lamelligera is a benthic form. All of them differ in size composition and sex ratio, whereas females are absolutely dominated by individuals preparing for spawning or that just spawned: the Sakhalin Bay periphery, at least in July and August, is a spawning ground of these shrimp. In terms of their diet, they are collecting benthic detritophages and benthic necrophages, and also are predators.
