Uniformly Convex Cone Spaces and Properties of Convex Sets in These Spaces

Abstract
We study various approximation properties of convex sets in asymmetric uniformly convex cone spaces similar to those of convex sets in Banach spaces. It turns out that results known for Banach spaces can be transferred to the case of cone spaces. We obtain conditions for the intersection of convex bounded closed sets to be nonempty.
